Deborah Ahn / Baek Soo-jung

Gauche : Laissez partir mon peuple
Droite : Le cri de Bandi

Since childhood, I have lived with North Korean defectors and have come to desire freedom from North Korea. I enjoy expressing the feelings God has given me through music and art.

Left : The Cry of Bandi
Right : Let My People Go

The deep darkness of the North. For many years, three generations have suppressed human rights and religion, blocking out the light.
However, even in the midst of this darkness, small lights have continued to shine.

Countless “Bandi” have silently but steadfastly illuminated the path toward truth and freedom.
This work symbolizes the hidden dedication of the Bandis who carry the spark of hope and the era of light that will surely come one day.

Exodus 3:7-8 The Lord said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land..

Countless fireflies of prayer rise to the sky, depicting the movement of God's hand.
