◈ 작품소개
북한 주민들의 목소리는 여전히 검열과 억압 속에 갇혀있지만,
자유를 향한 열망은 그 어떤 장벽도 넘을 것이다.
언젠가 북한의 풍경 사진을 본 적이 있는데 통일이 되면 꼭 그곳에 가보고 싶은 간절함으로 그렸으며,
머지않아 표현의 자유와 진실의 힘, 인권 개선의 가능성을 함께 나눌 그날을 기다려 본다.

Les voix des habitants de la Corée du Nord restent réduites au silence par la censure et l’oppression, mais leur soif de liberté surmontera tous les obstacles. Un jour, j’ai vu une photographie de paysage de la Corée du Nord, et je l’ai dessinée, animé d’un profond désir de m’y rendre un jour, après la réunification. J’attends avec espoir le jour où nous pourrons partager la liberté d’expression, la force de la vérité, et la possibilité d’améliorer les droits humains.

The voices of North Korean residents remain silenced by censorship and oppression, but their desire for freedom will overcome any barrier. I once saw a photograph of North Korea, and I drew it with a strong desire to visit there someday after reunification. I look forward to the day when we can share freedom of expression, the power of truth, and the possibility of improving human rights.
